Yeah, sure. Then all the freaks like me who actually want to get down and dirty in enemy territory would be out of a job. I understand your sentiments, but as a prospective RECON Marine, this really doesn't appeal to me. The writing's a little weak, and there isn't really a strong rope to pull a reader into the story, or essay, or however you labeled it. Some parts really don't connect that well, but keep trying.
Very good,I enjoyed reading it. I'm not one for analysis of a poem, much to the dismay of my English Teacher, but this is very good. The poem seems reminiscent of Ted Kooser, Poet Lauriete. Good stuff, very description/emotion packed.
