A Star Wars themed quiz in readiness for Star Wars Day

What will you do to celebrate Star Wars Day?



In preparation for 4th May (Star Wars Day), here's a Star Wars quiz for you. Please note, this quiz will only be about the proper, actual, real, much-loved, Star Wars trilogy (comprising A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi). This quiz displays 20 random questions chosen from what will eventually be a pool of several hundred.

Normally, I would give a history on the film franchise, but I'm not gonna give away any of the answers, so instead I'll give you a brief history on Star Wars Day.

The first organized celebration of Star Wars Day took place at the Toronto Underground Cinema in Ontario, Canada. Activities that were arranged included an original trilogy quiz show, a costume contest (that featured celebrity guests), and the web's best tribute films, mash-ups, parodies, and remixes.

Since 2013, The Walt Disney Company has officially observed Star Wars Day with several Star Wars themed events and festivities at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and in 2015, astronauts at the International Space Station watched Star Wars.

Star Wars Day has actually become so popular, that May 5 has, in recent times, come to be called "Revenge of the Fifth" - a play on the prequel film title Revenge of the Sith.

Anyone who has ever watched Star Wars will have rooted for either the Empire or for the Rebel Alliance. So here are the two main Star Wars themes (along with a few other choice selections of music from the films), and you can listen to whichever side you wanted to win. I'm sure there are a few closet Empire supporters here in WDC land.
