This is a poem I wrote one night when I was feeling lonely...
I look up, do you know what I see?
I see all the fear, all the terror leaving me
All the dreadful pain just floats away
I’m so horribly weak I begin to sway
The light grows dim, the flame bright
I want to scream out with all my might
My hands tremble with unknown strength
Even fickle time slows to a great length
Should it be now or am I to forever wait?
I don’t want to go on in this meander state
So I must stand strong, tall and brave
I shall forget all the feelings I crave
But my shadow mocks the silence I stand
It holds the sting like a backlash of hand
This façade is failing to uphold in its own
Such a thing will land me back into the land of lone
But why fight when the enevitable is so near?
It is so very close…and now it is here
