I wrote this when I was 12. My memories of my grandparents.
Memories Part 1

Me and my grandma,
we look so happy
without a care in the world.
In her arms, feeling safe and secure
knowing that nothing will harm me,
as long as I'm there, in her arms.
Even though she's not here,
I feel her presence in the air.
Still knowing that she'll always
be with me, whatever happens, in my heart.

Memories Part 2

Me and my grandad.
Happy but not happy.
I'm ready to take on whatever
life brings with my scowl, my personality.
Everyone said we were alike.
Same everything, same life,
Two people morphed into one.
Him, with a spanner in his hand,
a bit like my dad, although not related.
Both grumpy, lazy, always wearing their dressing gowns.

Memories Part 3

I'm fifteen now, although when I wrote this I was twelve.
I'm ready, ready for life.
I'm getting older, wiser.
I'm going through a journey,
A journey through life.
but no matter how old I get,
I will always have memories,
and I will always remember.
