Night Love


My darling
How the night fills
My soul with joy,
And how the crickets
Sing to me,
And me alone,
And how our love
Lives on forever
And touches me so....
And as long as we are creatures
Of the Night,
Our love shall prevail
In Life,
And Death,
Till the stars themselves
Fade into
Darkness....
