The Roads of Fire.
I walk among the Roads of Fire,
Dangerously close to the path of travel,
Ignorant am I to the song of the World,
Chiming in the ears of all that listen,
Spewing the Hymn of Immortality
As the flames rage and soar,
Cooking Earth to perfection.

I live among the Roads of Fire,
The safe path appearing to those who care,
I've burnt with all of you,
I've bled my heart dry.
Torment dies with those who have mistepped,
And those that live, still cast hope:
Hope that God will quench the fires' thirst.

I'm lost among the Roads of Fire,
The true path obscured by pain and suffering,
Lost to the point, I am.
Scared to die a slow death, I am.
As the climax of my journey approaches I realize:
Life is bitter without the sweetness of love,
Even among the Roads of Fire.
