A short poem on a special relationship i have
Persephone’s Kiss

It’s a delusion, a fool’s silent scream.
A scream echoing through the void
Heard by no one who is listening
Ricocheting off the darkness of mortality
It reluctantly reaches the end of the fall
It is met by the deafness and ignorance of the divine.

A longing for the embrace of a mortal Isis
A meek mortal man can dream
It is a state of darkness and delusion
A downward spiral, flat lining into oblivion
To be near her one must enter the temple
A temple where it is a sin to kiss Persephone.
