Really... you're all alone
Speak a Lie

It's like conversation doesn't matter
No obligation to laugh along
Politeness is out the window
No accusations of you being wrong

It's like their opinions have no purpose
The mystery of the unknown
Surrounded by a world of people
But you may as well be all alone

It's like everyone has a secret
All the others feel a different fear
We're all walking, talking, moving
But you question if they're souls are here

It's like their sugar canes are sweeter
The colours seen are different shades
All taught what we can see and feel
But who's to say they're all the same

Isolation is protection
Ignorance gives a blissful sigh
What they say makes no difference
For their mouths only speak a lie
