A painful poem.
Standing in the Rain

Standing in the rain,
Bathing in pain.
No one notices me—I’m just Plain Jane.

Oh how painful it is to stand in the rain!
I could neither dance nor sing,
I am being chained.

I yearn for someone to set me free,
They glanced at me,
Then turned to flee.

Will anyone ever hear my plea?
Or am I just a silent, lifeless tree?
