This poem is for my Grandmother may she rest in peace.
As I read your words I started to cry,
Then I felt the fluttering of angel wings flying by,
I think we all have little angels inside of us,
They usually sit idle without a fuss,
Until something dear touches our hearts,
They spread their wings far apart,
their wings spread in such a way,
It catches all the love that comes that day,
They wrap us with their wings to keep us warm,
It shields us from evils harm,
People have told me if they had gone through what I have their spirit would be beaten,
I tell them don't sweat the small stuff it is a long walk back to the Garden Of Eden,
So if we see someone down on their luck,
You can send them an angel to help them back up,
If you see someone starting to fuss,
Tell them not to worry there are Angels Among Us...
