This poem is about how not everything goes your way but you have to live with it.
Watching as the petals wilt
I sit and think a while
They make me feel full of so much guilt
I can't even bear a tiny smile

It's never filled with any power
As the memories all fade
It's like I'm stuck in this one hour
The day is in a midnight shade

My mind is spinning out of control
As everything around me dies
It all gets very grey and old
This world goes around with so many lies

I hate the way the feelings sink
The room is still and smoggy
It feels as if I'm on the brink
The sky is motionless and foggy

Now it all becomes so clear
Even though it's still a blur
What I want isn't here
My thoughts just stay and stir

Seeing the way the leaves turn down
I can see that nothing's right
I just might sit alone and frown
The things in around don't stay in sight
