Never run from your fears...
I run...
I realize that I cannot see anything
I can feel the sand under my feet
It mutes any sort of sound

I do not know why I'm running
I remember nothing of this place
I do not know if someone is chasing me.
I stop running

I stand still, trying to see thruogh darkness
There's no light; no moon
I cannot hear or smell anything
My fear grows.

The darkness weighs down on me
It is like a waterfall
It crashes down on top of me
Water cannot match the darkness

I start to run again
The sand is cold to my bare feet
I realize I am wearing no clothes
My bare feet make no noise on the sand

I hear a noise
Or did I?
It might have been my heart
Or my head throbbing

I hear it again
I realize with horror I am not alone
I run even faster
I hear heavy breathing behind me.

I feel some sort of heat
I look behind me, but I still see nothing
I keep running
Faster

I felt something on my back
A hand, or finger
It grabs me, ripping off my skin
I shriek, piercing the darkness

I fall and the monster is soon on me
It starts pulling me apart limb for limb
I keep shrieking, and I never see my assailant
Pain flows through my veins

I'm still screaming, still flailing
I fall out of my bed, unable to move
My limbs are still together
But I still feel immense pain...

Was it a dream?
Was it a seperate world?
All I know is...
It was real...
