It is a poem about, inner feelings of a young little girl about her life.
THAT NIGHT

When the dogs bark,
It is very dark.

The barking noise was not rare,
But it was natural to care.

She opened the door,
Which was very bore.

She was very bold,
Yet she felt cold.

As she neared the gate,
She wondered who was that late.

The dogs were still barking,
But she was not resigning.

She finally opened the gate,
But she couldn’t believe her fate.

There standing was her mother,
And she had not seen her since summer.

She gave her a hug,
Then all was a smudge.

She opened her eyes,
The sun was already at rise.

As she lay confused on her bed,
She realized her mother was dead.

Her destiny was too mean,
It all had been a dream.
