Where do dreams begin when you first fall asleep?
The end of a day
The light is no longer bold
It is a glowing shade
My thoughts to the night
My heart towards the day

Which way will my life turn?
Or shall it stay the course
A course to what I love and hate
Or towards a change in direction
To what I don’t already debate
So God can catch him

The man of one direction
Can finally learn another
One towards not what he knows
Towards a dreams conception

I can only see the end.
I cannot see if my path bends.
Nor can I see how long I must travel
My footsteps drag in the gravel
In the opposite direction everything is clear

The danger is known
My fate is sealed

This other way of life is unknown
Yes the goal is clear
But how do I know it’s my own

Step back he says
You try too hard
To live a life that’s pleasing
You don’t have to be on guard
The bend is a test
It is a test for me
It’s not for you
Lean back, let my ways guide you
Then peace and love will find you

Now close your eyes
Walk forward

I am here for protection
To find progress in you life
Go this direction

So the day has turned to night
The goal is still in sight
I can see the stars above me
But I lean towards what not me
