A Poem for my beloved mother who recently past away
No Blood on Your Hands
"
I came to you because you called
I sat beside you because you needed me
you took my hand in your frail hand
you caressed me, feeling sorrow for me

My tears stream down my face, I panic
you look up and say, " Honey, theres no Blood on my Hands." She is ready, but I am not
I cannot let go,but her body gives me no choice

I can feel her touch, I can hear her voice
She walks with me everyday, but she isn't there
My tears don't bring her too me, but they do not cease.

I rise everyday because of her courage in her darkest hour
My feet remember that her feet never stopped until her heart did.
I do not complain about things that will pass, because she did not complain about things that would not.

Mom, you were the strength i aspire to, you walked through the fire with strength and resolve. when i would tell you i am not strong, you would laugh and say " Strength will find you, it always does"

My Love is yours Always
