A poem about my Grandma's House.
GRANDMA’S HOUSE

Grass the softest that I’ve ever felt.
Red bricks are so solid and strong.
Aroma’s draw me inside.
Needing a safe place,
Dreaming of Grandma standing there,
More than just a friend.
Always loving, always nurturing,
She never turns me away.

Haven is the only way to describe,
One place that I never want to leave.
Understood without judgment
Someplace to be myself.
Exactly how a home should be.
