...................
Sure, I've heard it before,
Those words have given me bedsores.
I'm not mad that it happened to you,
I'll just consider it an annoying preview.

I'm happy you could live out my dreams,
So happy I want to rip the seams,
Of everything I've lived for,
But even that won't cause an uproar.

Who you are makes me wonder "who am I?"
And I've found out, I'm just here on stand-by.
I'll just wait to be noticed like you were,
I'll make your motionless shadow my altar.

All my accomplishments don't mean a thing,
It's just extra baggage that I'm carrying.

And you say you're "jealous" of me?
I'm sorry nothing was handed to me.
I've had to work for everything I've got
And for all I care, that shit can rot.

I may seem a bit angry,
But I'm turning green with envy.
Am I feeling sick on the stomach,
Or have you actually made me starstruck?

I hope you're happy and I hope you're proud,
And you know what, I'll always be around.
I've learned you don't work for what you want,
All you do, is pretend that you dont want and want,
Every single day of your life.

Good things come to those who wait,
Not to those who already create.
