Still some hope
They who saw golden wings, from dreams that left still wanting.
In days shadows have covered what was known but not seen.
Unspoken hope fails to bring to life that which has been lost.
Yet, in darkness light must shine bringing sight to the blind man's eye.
If not only for an instant they feel nothing.
An absence of pain and sorrow.
The one who lived in darkness is blessed.
For his calluses hard and heart cold
and if he believed in the impossible then marvelous things would happen.
The covered sight of him will end without cause and break all who see.
Hoping for a difference but nothing as to the means of men will aid in the struggle of desirable fiction.
But now in his aid to angels song.
They call to him asking for assistance.
To bring breath to fallen faith in eyes only felt by few and in the end the presence is left unfulfilled.
He who was in darkness is allowed to follow in the shadowed of light's footsteps.
