A Poem I wrote one day when I was bored in the school library
Tell me that you're sorry
Tell me that you care
Because it's what I really need to hear
my world is torn
I've got no one except you
so kiss me like you mean
hold me like it matters

I'm dying inside
and I've got no one to help me
are you real or is it just
my imagination creating
yet another illusion

I'm trapped in a world
I don't' know
with know where left
to go
will you help me
will you stay
Are you real or is my desperation too deep

The glass shatters as I stare
at the empty eyes of
my lost soul
I've been through
more than my fair share of pain

I long to watch the blood
ever so smoothly
glide down my wrist
like a beautiful work of
art
in this otherwise desolate
universe

I've grown and changed
and learned a little bit
there are things in this life
none of us are meant
to go through

is love worth the sacrifice
is it worth the pain
my sanity isn't strong enough
to put up with your delusions
are we real

or like the rest of the world
merely a shadow
of what we're meant
to be
