This is basically a poem about being lonely.
Can anyone hear me?
I'm trying to scream,
My voice is trapped,
Will you let it out?

Hope that you will be the one,
The one who will set me free;
I've been locked up for so many years,
Are you the one who holds the key?

You say no, but I say yes,
I'll leave you alone now;
I won't bother you,
I'll shut myself in and never come out.

Thank you for letting me out of my cage,
But you really must go;
I need to get out all this rage,
With a knife to my wrist.

I drag the blade across my skin,
and watch blood flow from the cut;
But you just stand there,
Like you don't even care.
