If you believe in God come read....
Once again you've hurt me
And again you say sorry
With your words you taunt me
A useless apology
Why do you even try?
Why do I even try?

You'll do it again
Time after time
Blow by blow and then
You think it's just fine

But it's not and never will be
I'm not so sure you care
I don't just dish out pity
To anyone who dares
To ask me to forgive
I don't think I can do
To ask me to just give
My forgiveness right to you

Once again I run to Him
Because I'm not sure where to go
But the true reality is
I know exactly what to show

But if I forgive
Will the wrongs be made right?
Must I forgive?
Must I give up this fight?

Am I forced to forget
The hurt that was done?
If so I will get
Up and then run

But then you tripped me
And I fell in Your arms
This is just wrong
I can't be that strong

"Hold tight" You say
As you hold out Your hand
"I died on the cross
And I'd do it again"

The tears flowed then
And I knew just why
If He could forgive
Then so would I
