I wrote this a long time ago for a new acquaintance.
Just a few letters on a screen
that's all I knew of you
then your lips parted and gave birth to a stream of wisdom and clarity that swept me away, smiling, enveloped in waters unknown... yet so familiar

the electrons burst from the screen, yanking my breath from me as I saw an angel wrapped in loving nights chill embrace.

those who know her abuse her and browbeat her into seeing a warped reflection, make her blind to the truth, blind to the beauty inside as well as the radiant surface

the fools scoff at her, ignorant of this treasure within reach. and how many would give their soul to please her, just to see her smile.

i caught, by stroke of luck, this divine being's notice. we spoke of the splendor of music and art, the latter of which she revels in a boon of talent and creativity. How fate smiled upon me, with such a bright light which enflamed my soul, that if my life was snuffed out at that instant I would pass away happily with a smile.

-for my dark angel in the sunshine
