I wrote this before I broke up with my significant other, but after I made the decision.
How can I do
What I feel I need to
When I have to leave you
Torn and broken

I can't take the strain
It's driving me insane
I know I'm causing you pain
I need to break free

Why do I feel
The way that I feel?
I wish I could feel
The same way for you

I'm lost in this sea
The confusion is swallowing me
I'm sinking underneath
I just hope I don't drown

I know you'll be ok
No matter what you say
But I know I can't stay
I have to be free...
