A poem about the connection between the human heart & the spiritual aspects of the ocean.
Ocean, you lap against the land,
And crash against the rocks.
Are you hoping to stretch forth your hand,
To reach inner landlocks?

Ocean, are you salty because,
You are surrounded by your tears?
Are your fingers tapping against the shore,
Because your sighing no one hears?

Ocean, you have no friend,
Is that why you are blue?
And sometimes turn green with envy,
Of those who sail on you?

Ocean, do you take my reflection,
To pretend it was your own?
Do you whisper with the easy wind,
To tell me you're alone?

Ocean, I will stand on your shore,
And listen to your heart.
All my troubles will melt with yours,
For I am you in part.
