A song I wrote to show how much I believe in my best friend
I know what its like
When you wake up to find
Your life has become
One of those songs
Where everybody knows the chorus
But nobody knows the verse

And you greet the new morning
With yesterdays headaches in tow
Your face has become
The wasteland of a life
Of someone you used to know
A friend from so long ago

You feel battered and beat up and weak
You would dance if you could only find your feet
Dreams in a box tucked under the bed
Untill you fight the holy war in your head

Somewhere
Between whats right and whats wrong
A band keeps on marching
And they're playing your song
You may feel weary
But please never feel old
Never stop moving
'till you run out of road
Dont be afraid to just fall
Dont think I ever wont answer your call
There's a storm raging somewhere
Slightly out of view
Its waiting for lightning
Its waiting for you

Are you talking through glass
Do you feel that nobody hears
They nod politely
Smile when they should
They think they're listening
If only they could

You feel battered and beat up and weak
You would dance if you could only find your feet
Dreams in a box tucked under the bed
Untill you fight the holy war in your head

Somewhere
Between whats right and whats wrong
A band keeps on marching
And they're playing your song
You may feel weary
But please never feel old
Never stop moving
'till you run out of road
Dont be afraid to just fall
Dont think I ever wont answer your call
There's a storm raging somewhere
Slightly out of view
Its waiting for lightning
Its waiting for you
