Just a little thing on how life can be sometimes
Daylight shines bright,
but darkness still lingers.
The past clouds the present,
the future frighteningly unknown.
The present gripped by the hold of the past,
how to let go, I am not sure.
Past, present, future all tangled in my mind.
Though the day is bright with sunshine,
the tangled mess is the darkness I hide behind.
