this is a brief observation of what i saw when neighbors moved in across the street
They moved to my street about 2 years ago,
i don't know my neighbors they just come and go.
Every now and then their car will pass me by
but they never take the time to stop and say hi!,
They leave really early and get home around four,
then i see their car dissapear under the garage door
They are always up at the crack of dawn,
i never see them have barbecues or mow the lawn.
On a sunday their blinds are drawn for hours
you think they would go out and plant some flowers.
I would like to invite them over for coffee or tea,
i do,nt think they would answer the door to me .
I guess they have their lives'
being suburban husband and wives.
They are both as quiet as a mouse,
i don't hear a single noise from their house.
You think that they might cross the street,
just to say hi ,talk and meet!.
But i guess i am asking for way too much,
for them to have that neighborly touch.
So i guess i will hope for less,
as my strangers across they way,
leave me to wonder and guess
WHO THEY REALLY ARE ?...........
