this is the first in my batch of serial killer/cannibal poems.
He loves the way her lips feel
sweet, soft, so lovely and fine.
He loves the way her skull looks
on a shelf above the fireplace.
He loved the way her eyes glazed
as he choked the life from her.
He loved the way her body went slack
and the way she said she loved him
...he now loves the way she can't take it back
