Tis a small little ditty that I scripted for a play that I was in last year.
Come on in boys and girls
Listen to the tales of old
Gather in nice and tight
So you don't get cold
Chills running down your spine
As you hear these silent cries
In the dead dark of night
We know our jobs done right
If insomniacs you become
Within our evil recuium
Have you fun, but don't you scream
For this is on what the spirits feed
Tears of joy and cries of terror
On this hallowed eve
On this night you won't be sleepin
Things go bump in the night be creepin
Searchin for the weakest soul
To gobble up, and make it whole
And with each scream the evil grows
And with its weight the rafters bow
To devour every living being
Make you the silent screams
That haunt this city's walls
