Just a funny little descriptor of me.
People call me a hippie
For what they see
I’m a long haired bum
For all they think of me

Can dust leave a mark?
Can a hippie have class?
The only time I’m called smart
Is in conjunction with ass

Have I proved them wrong?
Or am I just lucky in that way
A hippie with a brain that forgot to fry
Or just was able to choose the right times to fly


So next time you see one of our mugs
Think about the person under that rug
