Lost in a sea of memories,
Ways to understand and regret,
Things I'm longing so hard to forget.
Make them vanish, out of sight,
Banished from light.
The tomorrows we left behind us

In empty spaces of my mind,
Lie a perfect little find,
The way it was in the past.
Glorious days gone by,
Sifting in and out of times eternal passageways,
Just some thoughts of yesterdays.
The tomorrows we left behind us

Daydreams flowing round my head,
Cold rooms and lots of empty beds.
Rooms we held in hands of care,
Eyes of love and arms that shared.
The tomorrows we left behind us

Fragrances of the past,
Longing images displaying a lifetime that flew past.
Some entwining lives that never last.
The tomorrows we left behind us

Circling thoughts in a garnet haze,
The moons all fall in a sun lit blaze.
As we watch the world and know we can't forget,
Echo down hallways in faces
That claim to have never met.
The tomorrows we left behind us

Windows filled with light of dancing blue,
Lovers waltzing one and two.
Shattered dreams cloaking pairs that cry,
And yet we go on,
Living our own lies.
The tomorrows we left behind us

Pictures hung in hallways long ago forgotten,
Like ruins that await a soul to discover.
And safely recover
And lost souls lef tot suffer
The tomorrows we left behind us

Corners overflowing with shadows quite dark,
Hiding tears left by pains great mark.
Running in fields of what we left behind,
Times before we all resigned.
Things I remember curling round my finger
Searching for what I recall,
Of a time and a place where we loved all
The tomorrows we left behind us

If it could just all align,
Into worlds of perfect, perfect design.
In the crevice's memories sleep,
I try and try so hard to keep, us
The way we once were.

Now, when I climb the stair,
And turn the key,
Please be there,
Still in love with me.

I'm always wondering is it to late?
yet, today's the day I lay and wait
For yesterdays to end
Despising tomarrrow and all its many friends
Lusting for the end of the wicked days
And mightily thirsting for my own
To die away and fase and pass
From the agony of time
Never to return, Because I'm scared
Afraid of what I might shed light on and find
