A tale of lose

Somewhere in a dark lonely room
There is a man.
Once a picture in
Surround sound and technicolor,
But now
Simpy broken upon the floor
Reverted back to silent, black and white.
He is whimpering and muttering
Useless prayers.

The past drips from
His tired eyes
That hurt from all the pain
And sorrow,
But most of all
From the quite.

...The room
Had once been a place
Of cabinets filled with old,
But still smiling
Bears, Hippos, Giraffes
With skin of wool,
And cotton filled veins.

A place...
Of game play.
Littles pieces scattered about
From Chutes And Ladders,
Candyland, and
In the begining it was simply
Peek-a-boo.

A place...
Of bright pink walls
Covered with unicorns
Trotting across a rainbow,
And surrounded by fields
Of twelve feet tall sunflowers.

But the stuffed animals
Blood cotton flows out of them,
The games require a single player,
And the hornless, wingless uni...
Horses' rainbow have disappear
Amongst the wilted plants.

A room, a grave, a memorial,
Where a man's heart
Will be laid to rest with his soul.
