How I deal with alarming dreams, when you have to wait out the storm...think.
The Music in the Deep

How to keep the music in the deep
Within sleep awakening to sleet

On bitten cheeks the stinging pain
Cascades down, but memories remain

Harps that glow and call you out
A charming thought turns you about

A tintinnabulation comes in sight
Of its tribulations hold on its might

If Sirens were real then tonight seems
A disturbing awakening in my dreams

For what I thought was sleep was unreality
Of hope for keeping the music in the deep

Was I ready to have angels singing?
“The kingdom is coming, the kingdom is coming,”

Temporally paralyzed in this terror grasp
I took comfort that I could still think at last
