Other imaginings.
With her bare laugh and her lonely cry
she sat there naked to him, thinking of
reasons why. The fear inside her gripped
her till, she sat there still and naked
on the floor. He stood there over her,
between her and the door. You'll not
leave me now, not ever! And you think about
what you said and done. If you try
to leave again, I swear I'll get the gun.
With her bare laugh again, then a strange
defient cry, she stood up, still naked to
him and now eye to eye. The fear inside her
kicked her back, she almost couldn't tell.
Then the smoke from the gun mingled with
his blood; a strange enchanting smell.
The iron on the floor red liquid hot,
and solid cold in his skull.
With her bare laugh and her lonely cry
she walked away naked...
beneath the clear blue sky.
