self esteem issues
She looks at herself up and down
In the infamous mirror
The one she picks at herself in
The one she tears herself apart in front of

He talks about other girls
Like they are the ones ment for him
He ends it all with a joke
And she smiles –as he moves on
But she doesn’t
For it eats her up inside

She wonders what is wrong with her
Why he talks about other girls
And not so much about her
What is so wrong with her

Does he really think about those other girls
Why cant she be perfect
That mirror –the horrible thing that it is
She kicks, screams, cries in front of it
She’s a mess

But he doesn’t know
If he did, would he even care
Everything about her is disgusting
She’ll never be good enough for her own self worth
She will always mean nothing
Be nothing – look like nothing

Tears roll down her face
Hair a mess
Every time she looks in that fucking mirror
She just wants to trash it
Trash herself –throw herself away

That mirror attacks her
She swears it’s out to get her
But no one will no knows
No one will see her in this mess
This self-conscience disaster she really is

He will never see her like this
Although he causes it
He will never understand the pain –the torture
She goes threw when he talks about those girls
She isn’t like the ones in the magazines
Doesn’t he see that
Doesn’t he understand
She is what she is
He can take her or leave her

She just wants this to stop
She wants to love herself
But if he doesn’t love who she is all the time
How can the world expect her too
