This is about feeling lost and all alone.
I couldn't stop that feeling,
That sense of being lost,
In the middle of no where
I was turned and tossed.
I had to face the truth,
I was lost with nothing nearby
Not a person or phonebox,
I couldn't help but sigh.
Up on this great hill
I was lost in a storm,
No-one knew where I was
All I wanted was to be safe and warm.
In the middle of this grey cloud
I began to cry,
I couldn't help myself
I thought I was going to die.
I couldn't rid myself
Of this horrible feeling
I was so frustrated
I ended up kneeling
Crying out for God
To come and save me then
I just felt so lost, so lonely
Out there on the fen.
Then this figure
Came out of the dark mist
He swept me in his arms
And in the moonlight we kissed.
And that sense of being lost
Completely disappeared
I was safe now, safe from being lost
The one thing I feared.
