This is a song about how I get my feelings out when I don't want to talk about them.
Dear journal,
Yesterday was hectic
I thought I was headed home
But I was turned down

Dear journal,
Today was like Hell
I thought I was defensive
But I let myself get pushed around

Apparently this is what I was put here to do
And since I can't spread it around
I write this down to you

Dear journal,
Tomorrow might be better
But my optimism isn't strong
Like it usually is

Dear journal,
Tomorrow might come fast
So I better prepare myself
For another day like this
