a homeless tale
Chain smoking,
Watching the sky burn.
Taking turns to drink from the bottle that grips so tight,
Tonight the sky will drown everything into ink;
Unlock the secrets
Spill the answers.
Find the reason for this life.

The world is dark behind this drunken haze,
Shaded by the gallows
A noose for me.
To watch from afar.
To home from me
To home from lost.

The answer begs me from the pawn shop window
But it’s not for sale.
Unlock the secrets,
Spill the answers,
Find the reason for this life.
The key is fixed to the one
Most hated
But forgiveness cannot come.

Well beyond the horizon
Lies the mystery;
Misery belated.
If over the day,
If under the dreams,
It unites the families so lost.

A fixed point
It drifts away
The link with dirt
And these fences; at what cost?
Do you die to feel?
