She thinks she can catch it,
Her full wine glass tipping
Away from her grasp.
Teetering,
Tottering,
Ever nearer the
Retreating
Edge of her
Desk.

Gulp! She grabs it at
Last. Victory!
Away
She falls, flat on the floor...
Stone, cold sober.
