Through destruction and chaos, simple love perserveres.
End of the World

Come destroy my Babylon-
Destructive love, on and on.
Angel’s trumpet sounding last,
Judgment’s hand is closing fast
Just once more I feel your lips,
Oh kiss me now Apocalypse.

Love me now, love me as fire,
A holy mountain, a blackened spire.
Devils laugh and mock the wrecked-
Into the night we go unchecked.
From Armageddon we’ve been spared-
Into your eyes I sat and stared.

The beast marauds across the land;
Hellfire pits of poisoned sand.
All I see is this darkened room,
All I smell is your sweet perfume.
Your smile does dawn a pearly chime-
For this love at the end of time.
