What you may feel like when you find out unwanted information in relationships
I loathe these feelings I possess
My perfect life is now a mess
Things now a certain shade of gray
Speechless, with nothing left to say
Eyes now blinded by hate
Unsure now of my fate
Rain falls, the sun no more
Tears, what do I cry for?
This race I run I’m stopping now
Continue on I don’t know how
This hand I hold I can’t let go
There's so much that I need not know
Stop this car the brakes have failed
Wicked knowledge now unveiled
Digging deep in shallow ground
Leaving nothing to be found
Now there is nothing left to hide
Despising truth now left outside
Go back to the past where you belong
Bring all of this pain and hurt along
Stop for the light is red
Nothing more to be said
The candle burns becoming small
The leaves on trees begin to fall
A brand new chapter in an old book
A settling snow globe that was shook
Please take this doubt with your past
For in this race you end last
