He's runs like he's on a track team... I love it.
Speedy as a bullet,
I love the way you
move your legs, you
beat the crowd.
What a rush you are,
but I can't match
my hearbeat
with your footsteps.

Run, boy, run.

Oh please just
go through my mind again.
Here, I'm the problem,
there's your solution;
you're the speed
of my liking.

I write your letters
an inch apart,
so I can map
the path you travel
on my heart.
You're still here and gone
in a snap, in a second.
If only you knew
the length of the distance
you turn to inches,
you'd understand my
amazement.

I adore your pace,
and your focus.
You're so concentrated,
you control every
split second.

You give me strength
to carry on in times
when I can't
keep up.
I live off of
your movement.

I die when you
stand still.

So once more
will you steal my breath
at the sight of you?
Will my bones rattle
with your take off?
I love you too much,
but you're still my flaw.
My life is gone without you,
and you're steadily
moving on.

Keep going,
I love it,
but always remember
about that girl
who turns her head
when you pass by.

Please, boy, will you
run?
