Poem on firefighting. It was the very first poem I ever wrote.
Sound Of Sirens

You Know Something Is Wrong
And The Sirens Grow Loud
Then The Big Trucks Come Along
With This You Become Proud

Because No Matter What
Through Any Storm
Or Any Rut
These Men Will Form

These Men Are There
Through Thick And Thin
Through What We Cannot Bear
For Where We Fear, They Have Been

And Through The Smoke And Dust
To Save Our Lives
They Feel They Must
Leave Their Children And Their Wives

And To Show We Care
To Show These Men
We Should Be There
To Help Anyway We Can
