A short poem on coffee and its place in coffee breaks and the creatures who frequent them.
Java Minute?

Like cattle to a trough, they make their way
To what they think they need to start their day
It's really a drug, but they don't care
Cause it gives life to workers everywhere
The stuff it tastes so very bad,
So add lots of sugar, or just a tad
A little cream so it's not so black
Then hold your nose and throw it back
That's the only way you can get your start
In a clique with story-telling counterparts
They tell tall tales, but here's the perk:
It gives them a reason to put off work
It's not hard to spot those who are hooked
They have that pseudo-junkie look
Their hands are shaky, their teeth are dark
Their cold dull eyes just lack that spark
But when they drink that bitter sludge
Their energy gets a little nudge
It only last 2 hours and then
It's back to the trough for a fix again
