This is about the useless endeaver of turning something over and over again in my mind.
I hear it in the bath bubbles' crackle.
I feel it in the problems I can't tackle.

Thoughts come in but do not leave.

It's on my tongue as it melts.
On my skin as vicious welts.

Doubts come in but do not leave.

Some are always easy to dismiss.
Especially those that won't be missed.
I look ahead to a time that's real.
My wounds so deep they will not heal.

Questions come in but do not leave.

The darkness holds appeal.
Lay down. Forget to feel.
My answers will not come close.
Even as my spirit floats.

Feelings come in but do not leave.
