you retreat
into silence
cool politeness
Everything
ordered
categorized
filed
crossed off
the list you wrote
the night before
I follow orders
like clockwork
Everything
in it's place
clean
shining
tasteful
A reflection
of your perfection
Friday night
is scheduled
for romance
a quick roll
under the covers
Duty done
you turn
and fall asleep
