This is a short poem I came up with at school the other day.
My chest is burning
As my heart is yearning
Thoughts go racing
As my heart starts erratically pacing

Gazing into the night aura
My eyes begin to sting
For you are not within my ring

Agony fills my veins
As you, begin to wane
Thoughts contorted
Images distorted
Disarray eludes my heart
As it blindly beats in disbelief

Waves of sorrow grow,
As the winds of tomorrow blow
