its about the futility of hope
Life is short and fleeting,
Look at yourself, feel your heart beating,
And know happiness has left,
We merely exist with hopefully a touch so deft,
But not I, I stumble and blunder through life,
One filled with pain and strife,
So hope is all I have got,
But hope is as empty as despair is it not?
