Relationship of nature and human life
Dunes



Dunes resting on the desert floor
portray a constant image to the eye
belying the truth of their nature.


Ever drifting and changing,
driven by the wind they advance
in time with nature's beat,
swept in unison
grain by grain,
in a predestined cycle.


Majestic dunes!
replete with your undulating crests,
the reflection of mankind
and all our variations,
as we are rippled by the wind,
swept by an impersonal fate
across the crust of earth.
