Musings of luck misleading
Shoot the stars in all their glory
laughing down on all our woes and worries,
wishing upon the brightest color hue
hoping and dreaming for all to come true.

Shaming luck with a dash of salt,
Come on health and wealth, all comes to a halt.
Pitch a penny, it lands face down,
Heads UP! for chumps and clowns.

Lucky sevens, lucky threes,
had some, lost some, its all luck can be.
Teaser, preacher, player, maker,
Mr.Luck, will always be the taker.

One day though, if the sun shines bright,
strike it rich with the morning light.
Breathe deep, fresh and clean
and watch as the slate wipes clean.

Another day, another dollar, it
is he who shares his larder.
Blessings come ten fold,
for those who are wise enough to know.
Luck cannot be bought or sold.
